This page links to a virtual reconstruction of the African American cemetery in Rosewood, Florida. This virtual cemetery is offered as a memorial to those who lived and died at the site. The 3D model is based on a combination of data: the ground surface is derived from LiDAR and photogrammetry data; surviving graves documented using a mix of photogrammetry and 3D modeling; and the location of unmarked graves documented through a combinatin of mapping and ground penetrating radar (GPR) survey. You can learn more about this process here. The property is privately owned (not by me), and while the landowner permits descendants to visit, it is not publicly accessible.
You can view the virtual cemetery by clicking the above image. You can also click on the title in the upper left hand corner to open it in a new window.
